Pro Short

In the Pro Short model, all the elements come together to create a board with perfect balance. Using a rocker template that has stood the test of time and bridged the gap between generations of the world’s best surfers. The Pro Short has been a staple in the Schaper line up. Developed and tested right here on the North Shore. Originally designed in the early 90’s, this is the same board Carl has shaped for countless pros to be used every winter in the Triple Crown. Going back to Richie Lovett, Danny Wills and Mick Campbell in its earlier days and bookending in 2014 with Ricardo Christy. Supplementing Ricardo’s quiver and ultimately qualifying him for the WSL. This model allows you to push yourself into the most critical surf in the world. The goal of this board is perfect control at very high speed. At the end of the day, as describe by many surfers, ” it’s the board that just stays under your feet”. Recommended for experienced surfers as your performance short board and the next 1 or 2 sizes up. While it’s usually ridden as a squash on your smallest board. Some guys prefer thumb or round pin. You can get it either way and are welcome to custom your fin set up to your preference.
